archie is the quietly captivating fashion label of New York–based designer Mark Smith Clarke. Operating out of his studio in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, Clarke handles every aspect of the brand himself from pattern making and fittings to photographing seasonal lookbooks on film. With fabrics sourced from Japan and production managed by a small family-run factory in NYC’s Garment District, each piece is crafted in extremely limited editions, often just 8 to 12 garments. The result is a deeply intimate and introspective collection that celebrates craftsmanship, community, and quiet rebellion.
